In a continuing effort to support and enhance the healthcare services in Bahrain, officials from the Yousif & Aysha Almoayyed Foundation visited the Psychiatry Hospital and the Mohammed Almoayyed Drug & Alcohol Rehabilitation Unit (DAARU) in Salmaniya. The purpose of the visit was to meet with officials from both institutions and better understand their needs and challenges, with the aim of exploring opportunities for collaboration.
The delegation from the Yousif & Aysha Almoayyed Foundation included Ms. Mashael Farouk Almoayyed, Ms. Noora Feleyfel, Ms. May Almoayed, and Mr. Ashish Shetty. They were welcomed by Dr. Shaimaa Bucheeri, Dr. Ihab Rakha, and the dedicated team from the Psychiatry Hospital and the Rehabilitation Unit.
During the visit, the Almoayyed Foundation representatives engaged in productive discussions with the hospital and rehabilitation unit officials, learning about the essential services provided to individuals facing mental health challenges and addiction. The officials from the Foundation expressed their eagerness to support these vital institutions in their mission to provide exceptional care for those in need. The Foundation is committed to exploring various ways in which it can contribute to enhancing the facilities’ existing programs and services to further strengthen their efforts and make a positive impact on the lives of those in need.
The Foundation officials look forward to continuing their discussions with the hospital and rehabilitation unit teams to identify specific areas of collaboration.
