Y.K. Almoayyed & Sons (YKA), the sole distributor of Renault vehicles in the Kingdom of Bahrain recently received the Most Ecological Renault Showroom in Middle East Award. The award was presented to Mr Mohammed Almoayyed, Director, YK Almoayyed & Sons by Mr Bernard Chretien, Managing Director, Renault Africa Middle East Pacific during his visit to Bahrain. Present at this special award ceremony were Mr Abhijit Deodhar, Deputy GM, Renault Middle East; Mr Mohammed Tariq, Sales Director, Renault Middle East, along with Mr Alok Gupta, CEO, Y.K. Almoayyed & Sons and Mr Anas Abdulla, GM, Renault Bahrain, amongst other officials and dignitaries.
Addressing the audience at the award ceremony, Mr Mohammed Almoayyed said, “It makes us immensely happy to receive the Most Ecological Renault Showroom in Middle East Award. We sincerely thank Renault and Mr Chretien for this prestigious recognition. With our first-ever solar rooftop showroom which reduces carbon footprint by 326 tonnes every year and over 6,520 tonnes during its design life, we will continue on our Go Green initiative to reach Vision 2030 that will ensure a sustainable and environment-friendly approach to energy and reduction of carbon footprint”.
