Y.K. Almoayyed & Sons, the official distributor of Nissan in the Kingdom of Bahrain, is delighted to announce its sponsorship of the first edition of the Bahrain National Boxing Championships. The event is set to take place at the Isa Sports City in Riffa from June 10th to June 13th, 2024. This landmark championship is organized by the Bahrain Boxing Federation (BBF) under the patronage of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sport First Deputy Chairman, General Sports Authority Chairman, and Bahrain Olympic Committee President – Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa.
The Bahrain National Boxing Championships will feature nearly 70 talented boxers competing across various weight categories. The competition will be held in three divisions: elite men, elite women, and youth. This event not only provides a platform for boxers to demonstrate their skills and vie for championship titles but also allows the BBF to scout for emerging talent. Promising boxers identified during the championships will have the chance to train with the national team, potentially representing Bahrain in future international competitions.

In a ceremonial gesture, Mohammed Almoayyed – Director of Y. K. Almoayyed & Sons was presented with the championship belt by Rashid Feleyfel, President of the Bahrain Boxing Federation. Also present at the event were Alok Gupta, CEO of Y. K. Almoayyed & Sons, and Ahmed Al Dailami, General Manager of Nissan Bahrain.
