The YK Almoayyed & Sons – EDMAJ program powered by Yousif & Aysha Almoayyed Foundation, in collaboration with CleanUp Bahrain, proudly participated in the global campaign “World Cleanup Day 2025” by organizing a large-scale beach cleanup drive at Malkiya Beach.
The initiative witnessed enthusiastic participation from over 80 dedicated volunteers from Y.K. Almoayyed & Sons (YKA), who came together to contribute their time and effort towards a greener and cleaner Bahrain.
During the drive, volunteers collected and removed a significant amount of waste, including plastic, wood, and metal debris. In total, an impressive 1.28 tons of garbage was cleared from Malkiya Beach, directly contributing to the preservation of Bahrain’s coastline and creating a safer, cleaner environment for the community.
Expressing her appreciation, Madam Mariam AlUmran, Board Member of the Yousif & Aysha Almoayyed Foundation, said:
