Asia Motors, a division of Y. K. Almoayyed & Sons, hosted an exclusive JMC Customer Meet and the official launch of the All-New JMC Vigus pickup at the Royal Saray Resort, Seef recently. The event brought together valued customers, and distinguished guests including H.E. Mr. Ni Ruchi, Ambassador of China to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Mr. Mohammed Almoayyed – Chairman of Y. K. Almoayyed & Sons group, Ms. Mona Almoayyed – Managing Director, board members – Ms. Amal Almoayyed, Ms. Abeer T. Almoayed and Ms. Amel T. Almoayed, Almoayyed family members, and senior leadership from JMC led by Mr. Wayne Wang – Country Manager – Middle East & Africa to celebrate the growing presence of JMC in Bahrain and to unveil its latest generation pickup.
The evening marked a significant milestone in the partnership between Asia Motors and Jiangling Motors Corporation (JMC), one of China’s leading commercial vehicle manufacturers. Since its introduction to the Bahrain market in 2024, JMC has gained strong acceptance among corporate and fleet customers, establishing itself as a reliable partner for everyday business operations across the Kingdom. JMC’s current offering in Bahrain includes pickups, cargo and passenger vans, minibuses, and six-wheel trucks, which can be configured to meet a range of commercial requirements.
The highlight of the evening was the official unveiling of the All-New JMC Vigus pickup, reflecting a bold evolution in design, capability, and comfort. The All-New Vigus features a completely redesigned front and rear exterior, delivering a more modern and premium road presence. Compared to the previous generation, the All-New Vigus is larger in overall dimensions, offers improved payload capacity, and delivers enhanced driving comfort. It is available in 2.5L Turbo Diesel and 2.0L Petrol engine options, paired with manual or automatic transmissions, delivering strong, responsive performance for daily use.
