Y. K. Almoayyed & Sons Heavy Equipment Division supplies a comprehensive range of heavy duty vehicles, construction equipment and contractors’ plant and machinery, from some of the world’s leading manufacturers.
Heavy duty vehicles from Nissan Diesel, Kenworth and Iveco include tippers, cargo trucks, pump trucks, tankers, municipal vehicles, tractors and buses. The Komatsu range of construction equipment comprises bull-dozers, wheel loaders, excavators, rock breakers and graders.
Mobile cranes, all terrain cranes and rough terrain cranes are provided by Tadano. Towing tractors, forklifts, warehouse trucks and material handling equipments are supplied by Nissan and Komatsu, while New Holland provides tractors, farm machinery and light construction equipment.
Contractors plant and machinery is catered for with compressors from CompAir, pumps from Sykes, generators from Kubota and rollers and compactors from Taikyoku.Y. K. Almoayyed & Sons was contributed substantially to the promotion of these advanced, user-friendly heavy-duty workhorses, so much so that every third heavy-duty vehicle on Bahrain’s roads is from our stables. After-sales servicing and the provision of spare parts for all heavy vehicles and construction equipment supplied by Y. K. Almoayyed, is undertaken by the purpose-built Heavy Equipment Facility at Sitra. As well as routine servicing, the garage handles specialised jobs such as crank grinding and block boring, overhauling and calibration of diesel fuel pumps and injectors.
The garage also undertakes contract maintenance for other manufacturers’ vehicles and equipment.
