YKA is committed to delivering the highest standard of products & services to its Customers. This is being ensured by adaptation of Total Quality Management approach in all its operations for continuous improvement.

The company has initiated several Quality improvement initiatives like ISO 9001:2000, Balanced Score Card, Investors in People, Team Briefings and Employee of the Month & Employee suggestion scheme to achieve this objective.

Balanced score card system for strategy deployment & performance management is now institutionalized in all operating divisions of YKA. This initiative has now been extended to all support functions also. The BSC system at YKA has helped in cascading & deploying Vision, Mission & Strategy & is also being used as a tool for performance measurement & review. It also helped in identifying & implementing several cost reduction & process improvement projects which led to considerable amount of savings in all divisions.

The BSC review meetings are held every quarter for each of the business unit & are chaired by MD, Ms Mona Y Almoayyed.  CE, Mr. Alan James Guest & all support function heads are also present in the review meetings.

ISO 9001:2000 is most widely adopted Quality Management System in the world. It helps in achieving & delivering standards of Quality that exceeds Customer's expectations. The focus is on continuously improving internal processes so as to achieve higher Quality in all operations & Customer satisfaction.

Almoayyed Motors division & Medical technology division of YKA are certified for ISO 9001: 2000 Quality Management System & the company is in the process of implementing the same in Electronics Division.

Team Briefings: The Company has recently launched Team briefing initiative in all divisions of the company. The purpose of team briefing is to improve employee relations at all levels & to improve communication. The team acts as a vehicle for cascading business plans , discussing current & future departmental plans, promoting the company Vision & Mission & involving & empowering staff in the decision making process. It is also a forum for identifying, discussing & resolving employee concerns.

Employee of the Month: Ms. Mona Y Almoayyed, MD, launched Employee of the month scheme in January this year. Every month the Employees, who serve the company in an exceptional manner, perform outstanding work & exhibit positive & supportive attitude are selected as Employee of the Month & are felicitated by HR with a cash award & certificate.
