ISO 9001:2000 is most widely adopted Quality Management System in the world. It helps in achieving & delivering standards of Quality that exceeds Customer’s expectations through the adoption, review & audit of standardized policies, procedures, records & documents, technologies, resources & Quality Objectives. The focus is on continuously improving internal processes so as to achieve higher Quality & Customer satisfaction. ISO certification has now become even more important business requirement as it is a pre qualification requirement in most tenders & contracts.

YKA begin its Quality Journey with the implementation of Quality Management System ISO 9001:2000 in its automobile division Almoayyed Motors in the year 2003. The division has since been recertified in the year 2006.

This was followed up with implementation of ISO 9001: 2000 in the Medical Technology Division in March’2008. MTD is the first company in the field of facilities management in this region to be certified by the ISO.

We are currently working for implementation of QMS in Electronics division and certification is planned in the month of March’2009.
